Millions of peaches...

I have always taken for granted eating delicious home made canned peaches- I never knew how much work went into it. Grandma Mimi spent the day with us showing us how the pros do it.Can you see my snaggle eye? This picture doesn't do it justice. I just woke up that morning and my eye was swollen shut. It was so natsy looking, I don't know what cause it and it was normal by that night. I wish I would've taken a close up and used it as my facebook profile pic.
I think Otie ate about 5 whole peaches throughout the process

Birthday BBQ

My baby is one. We had such a fun birthday with him. Here are a few pics of the big day (thanks to Wendy for taking so many pics!)

birthday boy carrying his cupcake that he licked the frosting off and a piece of the horseshoe game
Otie LOVES the aquarium so we did fish cupcakes
licking the beater
he loved carrying around the balloons- had to throw them away today because he bit through one and popped it
opening his truck from grandma and grandpa

We had a special tray of faves just for Otie- grahams, olives, cheerios, cucumbers and goldfish

At Otie's 1yr check-up he is 90th percentile for height and 10th percentile for weight- slowly turning into a clone of his Daddy.

O loves saying hi to strangers right now. He'll say it to people at the store until they acknowledge him, it's so funny.

Happy Birthday Otie!

I love this toilet water splashing, tongue rolling, paper eating little man. It's amazing to see how he's grown in a year.

We heard him talking to himself when he woke up this morning so we took a video when we walked in.

"I Think I Can-yon"

You know you have good friends when they get you out of bed before sunrise and drag you up Big Cottonwood canyon.

This is going to be Otis

I hate cutting his fingernails. I just can't do it. It is physically impossible to get him to hold still so I can do it. I just took another chunk out of one of his fingers. He's only going to have a few stubs left at the rate we're going. So he won't be able to pay the piano, who cares.
