5 MONTHS
Happy Birthday to Grandma Cherie today!! We love you and wish we were with you today!
At 5 months Otie is 17 lb and 70cm
I used to just set the panda next to Otis and snap a quick pic- but as you can see, he made it a little more difficult for me this month...

SNOW DAY!
One day last week we woke up to this view out our window:It was the best. It was the most snow London has had in 18 years and since I don't think there is one shovel or snow plow in this city, everything basically shut down- including the tube (underground, I know..weird). So Ty couldn't get to work that day.
I was giddy with excitement. It reminded me of snow days in elementary school. So we trekked out to the Heath with Cian and Adelaide and the boys in the strollers- which we really needed 4-wheel drive for.
Otie hated used to hate being in slings- but now that he's almost too heavy for them, he loves them- but only if he can peek over the edge to see what's going on

Bath time
If you're born in Europe you have to wear a baby speedoBath time used to mean mellow out and wind down time. But since we've started taking Otie swimming he's been really hyper and gets a really serious look on his face and starts thrashing and kicking. The videos just don't do it justice.

Roger v. Rafa
Loved watching the Australian Open- Nadal is my man. But as you can see, Otie was more interested in his Daddy than the game this year.

Let the messes begin....
I was making a carrot cake for a little afternoon 'tea party' we had the other day and I turned my head for a second and looked back to see this. This sneaky little man in the bumbo grabbed the spatula in the frosting and managed to rub it all over the place in a matter of seconds! I think it's time for me to start growing the eyes in the back of my head that mom's have.

Red Hand Day
The RED HAND CAMPAIGN is an effort to Stop the use of child soldiers.
Last week we went to a friend's where Otie made a red hand. The actual campaign recognition day is February 12th--the day hopefully 1 million RED HANDS will be presented to UN officials by youth from around the world. The host made a great video (where Otis even makes an appearance). Here is the link if you want to check it out:
