Baby shower at Karen's!!

This post is so long over due, but I forgot my camera this day so Marnae came to my rescue and took a few pictures and I just got them from her (thank you Marnae!!)

It was so fun to see so many friends at the baby shower Karen gave me when I was in Utah this summer. And it was especially fun to see Karen's amazing new home! Thank you Karen!!

With Kenz and Kati (who is due I think just over a month after me!!)

Nanette with the 'Hostess with the Mostest"
Nicole and Meg
Katie, Nan, Jen and Megan
Brooke, Kati and Drew (aren't his curly locks just to die for?)
Thanks again Karen! And to everyone for coming, it was such a blast!

Visit from the Hales

Amy and Scott spent a few nights with us after traveling around England following an immunology conference Scott attended at Oxford. They were such great guests. They packed so much fun into the few days they were here, too bad I couldn't venture out to see the sights with them- at this point I'm not too much fun to walk around with as I walk at about the pace of a snail. Thanks for coming guys! And thanks for the tips about traveling to the Cotswolds- we'll definitely be going there now.

Chi Omegas come to London!!

It was so fun to have a slumber party with Sheridan and Alicia on their last night of their world wide summer tour. Their visit was short, but oh so sweet. We did have time just before they went to the theater to hit up a really dingy Chinese take-out place that Ty loves.
Thanks for the sleep over girls! Come back any time!!

Visit from the Thuesons...and Jill's amazing photography skills

It was so fun to have Kev, Jill and Joey in London for the summer. We wish they would've stayed forever. But lucky for us , they spent their last night at our place.

At the beginning of the summer I told Jill that I had this idea in my head of some cute 'London' things to put in the babe's room. I couldn't describe exactly what I wanted, but somehow she read my mind and photographed these things and turned them into wall art. She is so talented, I absolutely LOVE this wall art. If I knew how to put a link into a post, I would. But since I don't, you should just go to 'Jillyn Photography' on my list of blogs.
Here are some close-ups...

And this map is from Portobello Road and will go perfect with Jill's work...still need to find a frame for it.

Pregnancy Yoga

I've been going to this pregnancy yoga class that is amazing. I highly recommend it for any of you pregnant ladies out there. I have to admit that it is a little out there- from the Dalai lama statues and burning incense to the chanting and bowing to your baby- but I still love it. I have been going with a group of girls from my antenatal class. It is a blast. Here is a picture of some of us- all due within a few weeks of each other and all about ready to pop!

Congratulations Winston and Candace!!

Ty said the wedding was such a blast. Thank to Scott and Minda for taking the pictures and sending them to me because I sent Ty with a camera and, as I suspected, he never got it out of his bag.

Happy Anniversary!!

Today we celebrated our 3rd anniversary! I can't believe how fast the time has flown by. Unfortunately we didn't celebrate together because Ty is in Utah for his brother Winston's wedding. I think it's true that distance makes the heart grow fonder because I miss him more than ever today. I've been thinking of different memories and decided to write a favorite one from each year of our marriage so far:

2005:

Our wedding day. It was the best day of my life, I am so lucky to be married to my best friend. The whole day felt like a party. Tyler surprised me by having a lunch all packed for us- he already knew me so well...I never skip a meal, not even for wedding pictures.

2006:

All the long talks we had on the drive up Provo canyon to go snowboarding. We spent almost every weekend of the winter up in Midway snowboarding, studying and playing scrabble.

2007:

Ty teaching me to skip rocks into the sea in Greece while his hair was in a pony tail. I remember so vividly watching him and loving how just skipping rocks made him so happy.

Here's to a great first 3 years love!!
