Missing Dad at work today....

Ty emailed me from work and told me he needs a blog post, he's missing Otis (and I'm sure me as well) here are a few of the latest pics.Otie sleeping in his Frankenstein pose
Our cute little stinker
I've learned that taking a baby to church is no easy feat. I've opted out of the hour long 2 bus journey and started paying for a taxi. Usually Ty has to leave before me so I'm left running around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to get out the door on time. Most Sundays I'm lucky if I brush my hair and teeth. Luckily, Otie always looks this cute...

It's getting pretty cold here so we have to get all bundled up before we go out for the day. In London your stroller is basically your car so Otie is out in the cold a lot of the day. I'm always concerned that he's too warm or not warm enough, while Otie is mostly just concerned with trying to eat anything that comes near his mouth.

What Otie's been up to...

turning 2 months old...
meeting his honorary grandma Wendy...

hanging out with some pals...

lounging with the ladies...

going to the movies...

(This was awesome, it's called the "Scream". It was a showing of the new James Bond where you can bring your babies. Tea and cake is comes with the ticket, it was a blast and Otie was an angel and just chilled on my lap through the whole thing)

and lots of walks in the Heath!

"If you were to assemble a United States play ground, you would need to locate a place for your capital. A place where the landscape itself looks like it was created by Dr. Seuss with a back hoe. A place where it's possible to wake up in summer time and drive to winter. In short- you need Utah."
-Johnny Moseley
A friend of ours just lent us last year's Warren Miller ski movie. As soon as I heard Warren's voice I started bawling. I've been going to his films every year with my dad since I was little. I'm not sure I can survive another ski season away from Utah. I can't wait to take Otie to his first Warren Miller. We've watched last years a few times already and he hasn't said anything about it yet, but I'm pretty sure he loves it. Ty is going to London's premier of this year's Warren Miller this Thursday...I know, who would've thought they come to London? But it starts past Otie's bed time so I think I'll stay home with him.

All I can say is that it better be a white Christmas....a very white Christmas.

COSTCO in London!!

*Don't mind the bags under my eyes, my raggedy hair or my dissheveled appearance. I have a 6 week old*

It was like a trip to heaven and back! As you can tell, I was too excited to really pose for a picture, but I was pointing to the "Costco" on the shopping cart. It just felt like home being in Costco, I was so happy.

A friend of mine has a car and a Costco membership, so we took the journey out there and made a whole day of it. Luckily my mom was still in town and could help me decide what I should get because I was so overwhelmed. And we did only have a Prius- so not a lot of room. Anyway, we were there for hours (I only had to go feed Otie in a nasty bathroom stall twice) and we left with a car packed to the max with just enough breathing room for Otis to survive the car ride.

I told Ty that I had a big surprise for him when he came home. When he saw our counter full of all the loot, he just laughed and said, "honey, I think you went a little overboard". And now, I have to admit, I'm pretty sure I did. But I have 18 eggs, 2 jumbo sized shampoos, 8 soaps, about 50 clementines, more oreos than I can count and alot more to show for it.
