Dog sitting

Otis has been in heaven this week with my parents dog at our house. As soon as we wakes up he runs to the back door screaming Oliver! For some reason he thinks it's funny when Oliver drinks his water and decided to try a sip
The terrible twos are starting early in the Waltman household. He waits until you're watching to do something he knows he's not supposed to do, then he runs away as fast as he can
He has been insisting on wearing these boots at all times lately
We got these keys for free from Home Depot's broken/bad keys and Otis LOVES them. He tries to put them in anything remotely resembling a keyhole.
Love love love this boy and his skinny legs, grass stains, always dirty fingernails from digging in the dirt and his slimy kisses.

Snow shoeing

Since I haven't been able to snowboard this season, I have been itching to get up in the mountains and enjoy the snow. My mom was a trooper and did the "heavy lifting". I could barely bend down to get my own snow shoes on.
It started out really fun, but things went from bad to worse with Otis. It was snowing and he kept saying, "eye, eye" as the flakes went in his eyes...
So we let him walk (big mistake). He wanted to have his own poles
It was fun to be up in the beautiful mountains. But to be honest, it was really a disaster. Too bad we didn't take any pictures of him kicking and screaming the whole way back to the car so we could really document how it was!

Montevideo, Uruguay

My baby sister got her mission call to Motenvideo, Uruguay! She leaves in July. I'm so depressed and excited at the same time. She is going to be a great missionary, but I don't know what Otis will do without "Beppy" for 18 months.
Everyone making their guesses on the map. Otis guessed India.

The second video is Betsy reading it for the first time. She was so nervous and just blurted it out when she saw it, I didn't understand a word she said. The first video is reading the call again after all the excitement. Notice Otis' repeated "hi's" in the first video- he does that all day long to anyone who will listen.
