Our little Otis was born September 11 at 8:26pm. He weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and was almost 23 inches long. Every midwife that saw him commented on how tall and skinny he is like his dad.
We have been really anxious to post these pictures, but we had to stay at the hospital for five days because we had to do an emergency c section when Otis' heart rate dropped after 18 hours of labor. He may look cute in these pictures, but in person he is to die for. We are so happy and feel so blessed to have him in our family. Thanks for all of your prayers and love and support.

No lying...he's probably one of the prettiest babies (newborns) ever! Seeing these pictures makes me so excited! I'm glad that you are both doing well! And thanks for emailing me and telling me you posted! I'm seriously so happy for you! 23 inches...that's a LONG baby! I wish I could come visit you and cuddle this cute little guy! I guess I'll have to wait until December!

I could not be a more proud Aunt!! I love him with every breath. And thanks for the videos...me and Owen watched them a hundred times and loved every minute. Otis is the most handsome baby boy in all of the UK. I am so proud of you and Ty and we're happy that Otis is here safe and sound. What a stud.
Otis is super cute!!! Scott and I love the name and are so excited to see the pictures. Scott already pointed out that Otis is almost a 1/2 of me tall wise. We are so excited to see Otis and you guys come Christmas. Congrats!!!

He is beautiful! The hospital gown he is wearing sure looks familiar. I could mistake him for Abby or Sammy as newborns if I didn't look closely. But after looking closer, it looks like what you said, he is his daddy's son - long legs, big feet? Very cute! We are so happy for you. I had to stay in the Portland for five days when I had Abby (planned c-section because she was breach) and I loved it. I did not want to go home. It was like a hotel and they helped me so much. I knew when I got home it would be just me and Charles and that scared me.... Good luck! We are thinking of you!

HOLY COW! He is ADORABLE! He is very long and skinny, that's fun! He looks like he has dark hair and eyes- obviously a great combo! Ha Ha! I really hope that everything is going well. Congratulations! He is so beautiful. It's wierd hearing you describe your labor and delivery because it sounds almost identical to mine. 17 hours in labor followed by an emergency c-section, Crazy! Well he is absolutely beautiful and you look georgeous too! Enjoy every minute, it goes by so fast!

I had almost the identical situation last september when Daven William was born. (I love the middle name). good luck recovering I went through a tough postpartum so if you need advice you can email me. We went back to the hospital the next day, after we served our five days.
