Last night I met Ty after work and we went to Evensong at St. Paul's Cathedral. It usually costs 20$ to get in, so we'd resigned ourselves to the fact that we'd only just admire the outside. But thanks to the ingenuity of Betsy and my parents, they found out that if you go there or to Westminster Abbey at 5pm during Evensong, you can get in for free...good tip for next time you visit London. It is such a beautiful cathedral!
The quote of the subject goes on to say:
" I can never understand why Londoners fail to see they live in the most wonderful city in the world. It has more history, finer parks, better theaters, more museums, leafier squares, safer streets, and more courteous inhabitants than any other large city in the world..."
-Bill Bryson
Not that I'm trying to recruit more visitors, but this is really a great city and I think everyone should come here at least once in their lifetime. I love it more and more every day.

Missing my sisters....
Heidi gave me a bon voyage package when I moved here and it had this 'grow a sister' in it. On one of her last nights in London, Betsy and I were missing Heidi so we decided to 'grow a Heidi' and do face masks for all of us. Just the 3 of us waiting for our masks to dry...you can't really see it, but the 'grow a sister' has face mask on too.
You can't tell from the picture, but the package claimed that the 'sister' would get up to ten times the size- as you can tell, this was not the case.
Now I need more 'grow a sisters' to hold me over until we visit Utah this summer!

Visit from the Bittons!!
It was so fun to have Karen and Bryce in town. This picture is blurry, but it is very appropriate for their visit- they were always on the go! We were so impressed with everything that they packed into their few days in London.
It was fun to both be pregnant while they were in town- although, as you can see, she doesn't look one bit pregnant yet! What a difference 6 weeks apart can make!!
Thanks for coming guys!

22 weeks and growing....
I was in desperate need for some maternity clothes, so I was at the store trying some jeans on and couldn't decide on the size. So I went out to ask the girls working what they thought. One of the girls said, "Well, how far along are you?" and I told her about 5 months. And she said, "oh you're huge! When my cousin was 5 months, she was smaller than you. Now she's 8 months and looks like a whale!" So having no idea how to respond and I gave an awkward laugh and said, "ok, so go for the bigger size?" I could've been offended, but she really was a nice girl from Russia and it was just really funny.
My point is, I'm getting huge. But I love being pregnant, I constantly feel little kicks and bumps from the little man reminding me he's there. It's the best.
This picture especially makes me feel good next to slim and trim little Betsy

Weekend in Wales
We've had a full house this week with my parents in town and Betsy staying with us since she's finished her study abroad here. It has been a blast! We rented a car and drove up to northern England then on to Wales. We didn't have a set agenda or plans to go anywhere specific, we would just drive until we found a cool town and stay in little Bed & Breakfasts.
Lucky for the rest of us, Ty has been slower at work and was able to come with us for the weekend. My dad and Ty were a perfect team with Ty navigating and my dad driving in the opposite side of the car on the opposite side of the road while the girls just got to snack and chat in the back.
Waiting at the bus stop to get to the rental car place- we were showing off how light we packed
Hiking along the coast in St. David- there were miles and miles of trails
Stonehenge
The roman baths in Bath
We found one B&B early in the afternoon and as we were walking around we saw a sign leading up to a golf course. So of course Ty wanted to check it out. He ended up golfing a whole round, it was the most beautiful course. I went with him planning on only walking a few holes- but the course ended up weaving through the mountains and there was no chance for me to get out early. The course was along huge sheep fields with views of the Wales countryside. Halfway through we got up to an amazing view of the Irish Sea. I really had fun walking with him, but by the end I was using golf clubs as canes, it was a pretty funny scene- I was exhausted
My parents on the pier in Llandundno
We saw these wild mountain billy goats along the road and had to stop and do a little yodeling
The castle where they do the investiture of Prince of Wales
